Native first

For every block, use the syntax foreign renderers display best natively. Our own machinery appears only where Markdown has nothing: layout directives for containers, invisible comments for optional looks, the envelope for the rest — and every block declares its fallback. A useful foreign rendering beats a decorative internal one.
