0.2.5 is a correction release for the first morning after 0.2.4: the tab strip, the chat's tabs and notices, and the sidebar's pins — with two keyboard chords for making things.

Tabs and the keyboard

1. A tab closed with the keyboard no longer returns to the strip, and no longer comes back in the wrong position.
2. Command-N makes a chat and Command-Shift-N makes a page.
3. A tab opened for a new chat is selected when it is made, and the chat's title row names the route its model call runs on.

The chat

4. A preview pressed in a chat opens the picture. The row that opens a file address answers again.
5. A chat that is not on screen stays silent. A frame kept for a project the person left no longer raises a notice or opens the viewer over the pane the person is looking at.
6. The model control can no longer refuse a send.
7. A standing notice gives up its corner instead of covering the model picker, and its clock pauses while a person is reading it.
8. The viewer hands the keyboard back to the pane it came from when it closes.

The sidebar and spaces

9. A pinned chat is drawn as a conversation, with its name. A pin belongs to the project it was made in, and survives the project being renamed.
10. Adding a space answers again, from each of the three doors that offer it.
11. Sideways scrolling is repaired on eight surfaces, and an empty sidebar section shows only its heading and its plus.

0.2.4 is a correction release for the surfaces a person met in one evening of use: a Space switch that left the window half drawn, a chat created only after a second press, a tab row that could outgrow its header, an image that never reached the window from a chat, pins that crossed between projects, and a model list that offered every provider at once.

Every row it carries is a repair; the version adds no new surface.

Moving between projects, and the sidebar

1. Switching a Space either draws the destination whole or refuses and leaves the workspace usable. It can no longer leave the window half drawn, with an error where the product should have been quiet.
2. The tab row is one line at every width. Tabs give up width as the row fills and shrink to a single glyph, and only then does the row scroll. The header no longer grows with the number of tabs.
3. Pinned pages, chats, collections and boards belong to the project they were pinned in and are no longer drawn in another project's lane. Nothing already pinned is lost.
4. The plus where chats are created starts a conversation in one press. The menu that asked for a second press is gone.

The chat

5. A picture pressed in a chat opens the product's viewer over the whole window. It used to open the chat's own frame-confined preview, which filled the column it was opened in and left the sidebar and the header standing beside it — in the side chat and in the full-screen chat alike.
6. A conversation that is slow to open says so, and offers a retry. The wait is bounded at thirty seconds instead of standing on Loading history… for as long as the read takes, and returning to a project shows the conversation it was reading rather than loading it again.

The model control

7. The model list under a chosen provider is that provider's models. The rows drawn, what a typed word searches and the count printed are one set, where the search used to offer every provider's catalogue at once.
8. A model name too long for its row says the model's name and its provider, on hover and on keyboard focus.
9. Choosing a model applies. The door no longer asks a model that declares no reasoning level for one, which is the disagreement that made The model change could not be confirmed unavoidable — and left every later message in that conversation refused.

0.2.2 is the version where the workspace becomes fast and steady. Its work is the system a person lives in all day — the tab strip, the left sidebar, the side peek and the side panel — rebuilt to open anything within a strict budget and to agree with each other in every case; one notification system in the top corner that replaces the errors drawn in odd places; menus that open where they should; one icon set drawn one way; and the chat that opens as itself, with its conversation, every time.

0.2.1 is a repair version. Its work is concentrated on the surfaces a person uses all day — the conversation list and the chat, the model and provider pickers, the tab strip, dictation, and the wait between opening the application and being able to work in it. It also carries a few new things: a subagent can be given a persona and a profile, a collection in the sidebar opens into its views, and a document the product cannot read can be handed to an agent to repair.

New in this version

1. A subagent can be given a persona, a profile and its own contexts, and works in that voice with those contexts loaded.
2. Choosing a provider is one road instead of guesswork: every provider the assistant already has is offered ready to choose, and adding another is a single named path to the Models page.
3. A runtime installed on this computer is offered in the chat's provider list, with the models it holds.
4. A collection in the sidebar opens into its saved views, each with its own icon, its name and how many items it holds, and the opened state is still there after a restart.
5. A document the product cannot handle offers a control that hands it to an agent with the failure, and the repaired document is drawn afterwards.
6. The Library names the kinds of thing it holds and reaches each in one press, instead of sorting them under Pages and Collections.
7. The plus in the tab strip offers recent documents and recent chats side by side, and creates either.

The chat and its conversations

8. The conversation list is there when the chat opens, is never emptied by a failed read, and one conversation it cannot name no longer blanks the rest.
9. An opened chat wears its own name from the first frame, and sending a message no longer shifts or flickers the transcript and the composer.
10. A failed turn keeps the words in the composer and brings the transport back by itself, so nothing has to be reloaded; a just-sent message stays where it was written.
11. A conversation with running subagents carries a work indicator in its sidebar row.
12. An agent a person made can be addressed by name in the chat, and it answers.
13. The application opens its chat on the first load instead of answering that the chat is not installed.
14. The New conversation press always produces a conversation, and it is opened where the person can see it.
15. Changing the model or the reasoning level in a chat that has already answered is accepted, and a chat where nobody has chosen a level starts at the highest.
16. Conversations are grouped by plain periods — Today, Yesterday and the wider buckets after them — and each heading's count equals the rows it shows.

0.2.0 is the first version of Shtukbase a person can actually use.

• The DeepSeek Harness — the assistant that works inside the workspace.
• Collections and databases — the items, their properties, and the views over them: table, board, gallery, list, calendar, timeline, form.
• Pages — the document surface, a page's children, and a page's properties.

It is the first more-or-less stable version. Three parts are present and are not yet steady, so nobody should lean on them yet:

• audio recognition — present, not yet stable;
• the graph — not yet stable;
• the canvas, the board a person arranges by hand — not yet stable.
